THE AUDITION
🏡HOME BUYING & RENTING
A lease is a contract. Read it before you fund it.
⏱️ 2 MIN · NO WRONG PEOPLE, ONLY PRACTICE
SCENE 1 OF 1
Here's the moment
- You found a rental online for $1,200 a month.
- The landlord says send a $500 deposit before you see the lease.
- The photos look great and other people are interested.
- You need a place by Friday.
What's the smart move?
Pick one — nothing here goes on a record. This is practice.
Your first place is a huge step. Take photos, read the lease, know your rights, and never let urgency override verification.
